I will say one last thing. There are many bridging type of programs as well at universities. For example, University of Calgary has a 1 year post grad diploma in Data Science which if you do well in will allow you to get into Master of Data Science program. I am sure there are others like it. It will be up to you to do your research which I think is half the battle. Good luck with whatever path you take. Canada is not the end all be all.

I am really confused and dejected, I think I should give up. Best I can get is PG Diploma in some shady college. I can do better in India.
This not an online educational / medical counselling motivational forum. We give friendly suggestions based on our life experiences and it is up to you take it from there. It is your job to search for universities and programs that suites your background and educational qualifications. If you are not willing to even search universities, then no one is going to spoon feed you.

1. You should try one year professional masters program in a good Canadian university.
2. Apply first. [I read that you are not yet admitted to a college or university yet]
3. You need an admit letter to apply for Visa.
4. You will know how to write your Letter of Explanation. [Remember! You have 10+2+4 years of schooling. You definitely know how to write a letter explaining your situation. A visa officer will want to know if studies is your main objective. Nothing more. Nothing less.]
5. You could attempt GATE and do MTech in IIT, other wise.
