Hi Everybody ,
I'm new here in Canada and I got my PR card cause my wife is a Canadian citizen , btw I'm from Gaza-Palestine
I want to sponsor my mom (45 years) ,dad(57 years) and my sister(17 years) , is that possible ?

At this exact moment you cannot sponsor your parents or sister since CIC is not accepting applications at this time. Only 5,000 parent sponsorship applications are accepted per year (you can include your sister as a dependent in the application provided the application is received before she turns 19). CIC will reopen the process January next year. If you want your application to be considered it should arrive at the office the first business day of January. Last year the cap was filled in a day and half. You will also need to meet minimum income requirements for three years in a row to qualify to sponsor him (you can use your wife's income). More information here:

I noticed in one of your earlier posts that you mentioned you and your wife plan to live in the UAE. If you leave Canada, it will not be possible to sponsor your parents and sister. You must be living in Canada from the time their application is submitted until the time their application is approved. So you will have to chose between working/living in the UAE and sponsoring your parents/sister.

scylla is correct. And note that parents sponsorship takes a very long time (usually 4-8 years). So you will have to plan on living in Canada for the awhile if you want to be able to sponsor your parents.
