Guys, I really in need of advise.

I applied my PR application on Nov, 2015.
PGWP expired at the end of Nov, 2015.
Applied BOWP right before PWGP expired.
Job title changed around Jan 2016, same company and job duties.
Have not informed CIC about the title change as advised that would be pointless since my job duties are the same

Received a new work permit with issue date: Feb 9, 2016. Details are below:

Additional information:
Issue date: 2016/02/09
Expire date: 2018/02/09
Case Type: 20
ESDC#: Blank
Employer: Blank
Occupation/Profession: my pervious job title is shown in this line
In Force from: 2016/02/09

Conditions:
1. Must leave Canada by 2018/02/09
2. Unless Authorized, prohibited from attending any educational institution, or taking and academic, professional or vocational training course.
3. Not valid for employment in businesses related to the sex trade such as strip clubs, massage parlours or escort services.

Remarks:
Temporary Resident status maintained as per R183(6).

1.Am I in trouble since my job title was changed during the process of my BOWP?
2.Is this a open work permit or I have to have a occupation with the title shown in this permit?
3. Should I present this work permit to my company HR department or should I/ can i request CIC to have another open work permit?

I am very worried about the title shown on this permit, because it clearly does not match with my current job title. :( :( :( :( :(

you applied for a Bridging Open work permit? on the basis that you have a PR APPLICATION in process - correct?
then it won't matter - your permit is 'open' - job title is irrelevant.

Thank you for your answer.

Yes I think that should be a Bridging open work permit.

Here is my confusion; the information on CIC website states that , if that is an open permit, the case number should be 27 and the duration of the work permit is 1 year.

I do not understand why my latest work permit has 2 years duration and stated the job title.
I also concerns would my company HR terminate my employment due to the job title does not match with my work permit.

Logically, I would think; if this is a close permit, any restrictions should stated under condition instead of additional information, right?

I am so confused whether to present this permit to HR or not.

If the employer name is blank..its not closed permit..and you should be getting your PR very soon now.
Also the job responsibiltes define the NOC...so if your NOC code hasnt changed, why would you inform CIC :)

I feel a bit reliefed. I wonder if I got the bowp, does that mean I passed my current and previous employment check.

Or is there any indication you would say my pr is coming soon?

So I just got a closed work permit last week, which is also issued for a specific title. I asked the immigration officer what happened if I got a promotion with a different job title, and my takeaway from the conversation is if it was a similar job/a job that still qualified under NAFTA, they didn't really care, but if it was a substantially different job (say, from IT Systems Administrator to Secretary), in particular if the new job wouldn't qualify for the permit, it mattered.

I'm inclined to say don't worry about it.

You would be fine...
Just out of curiosity when did you apply for BOWP?
And did you apply online or by mail?

I applied on Nov 20 by mail (should be shorter) and still didn't get anything...

I applied through mail and sent it on nov 22.

Can someone clarify if I have passed R10 check, does that mean I will have my PR soon?

My EE case is a bit complicated:

1. Cannot prove my foreign work exprience.
It was 6-7 years ago, one of the company shut down 4 years ago. The other company also changed all manager roles. As a result, I did not and couldn't provide reference letters in CIC requires format. Instead, I provided CIC my employment letter and resign letter for both positions.

I really worried if my permit is open or not. I really hope that I am not limited to work as the job title states in my permit.

Hope I can get some more advise.

Regards,

Can someone help me? I sent this permit to my HR department, they are asking if this is an open permit or closed one. They also said if this is an open permit, the case number should be 27 instead of 20.

Waiting advise....

yes, it looks like it is an open work permit. Job title does not really matter much unless there is a restriction underneath.

A close work permit would have a statement saying you are only allowed to work for a specific employer or location. For example, my own work permit has the following restrictions:

"not authorized to work in any occupation other than stated"
"not authorized to work for any employer other than stated"
"not authorized to work in any location other than stated"

hope that helps

No. It's not an issue, either for your CEC application or for your bridging open work permit.

2.Is this a open work permit or I have to have a occupation with the title shown in this permit?

It looks open as there is no LMIA number or employer identified. However, it looks like there is a typo on your work permit, it should be case type 27 (for BOWPs). Looks like Case Type 20 is for US Government employees.

3. Should I present this work permit to my company HR department or should I/ can i request CIC to have another open work permit?

I am very worried about the title shown on this permit, because it clearly does not match with my current job title.

Sadly, it looks like whoever issued the work permit made an error. My suggestion is to contact CIC and try to get it corrected.
