Yeah. It is common. I know some applicants in the same situation, then, they got the approval of the spouse too. Also, please share your timeline, and detail

I applied in Mid July along with dependent visa for my spouse for fall'20 ..i receive medical request a month back.. I gave biometrics on 15th and I received passport request today.. Don't know how long it will require for my spouse..

Wait for a day or two. The update for spouse will come soon too. Those are system generated messages. Don't hurry and be patient for 2 days at least. Mail notifications gets delayed sometime, so you may need to login to CIC account and check manually.

Thank you so much.. Mine everything is completed yet medical request is yet to come for my spouse.. So was bit tensed..
