Usually decision made on ecas means when they have either printed out your COPR or mailed it out to you

If I read between the lines it means, In Process covers security checks, Medical check, and eligibility of the process then? whereas DM means issuing of the visa or printing of COPR?

Sometimes IN PROCESS never comes up for a person.. but yes most of the times..
as far I have read in this forum yes DM means issuing of visa or printing COPR

who update Ecas? Is it the VO or MIS in Ottawa?

I am not sure about it. But I think its not the VO, its the other department who updates it. as my ecas updated 3days after my interview. but gcms said they requested extension ( they sent extension i mean to rmo ottawa) that very day.
if they could have done that , they could have updated ecas too. So, I think there is a different department for that...

I guess the VO has to indicate something on the CIC Management Information Systems then the Central Department which has to be in Ottawa to put the banner either it In Process or Decision Made. Because mine never changes it still Application Received but through emails that is why I know where my application is in Final Review.

I landed on May 26...
Landing experience was good.. quick actually... my declaration card was signed or something by CBSA officer then had to go to immigration officer.. he told me to sit till the time he completes the paperwork...and after 5-10minutes he called me to sign the COPR.. and then stamped my passport and said PR card will be mailed to my address in 5-7 weeks. till the time I can apply for SIN.
SO, finally the immigration process is over and now another wait for PR card starts..
even have to go to apply for SIN next week.

Wow wow wow good for you UsCa you remind me how I landed 5 years ago in Montreal which was my port of entry. I had to Waite for 15 min for the CBSA officer to complete my stuff. All I wish you is welcome to Canada and my hubby will get his visa soon.

BTW
my ecas shows my full address now (earlier it was just showing province and country)
now it shows full street address with zip code..hehe
and it says Complete.
what a relief...

But not exactly i should say... have to wait for PR card now.
