Hi, I am a Canadian citizen 18 years of age who went to pakistan. There I met a girl and we both fell in love. I had to come back to Canada last month to continue my education. I have recently found out that the girls mom wants her to get married quick. I have tried talking to my parents about it but they say that we do not know the girl and her family and also because she is of a lower social class. I really love this girl and she loves me, since the day I've come to Canada we talk for hours everyday, we can not imagine being with someone else. She will be forced to marry someone else if I do not act quick. I really need some help in solving this problem.

Due all my respect, I tend to agree with your parents. Somehow, I feel a little fishy in your case. It's more like a pressure sales tactic. Even your love are true, but real life isn't all about love. Let's say you successfully sponsor her here, how can you guys financially support yourselves? Real life is more difficult than you can imagine. To be honest with you, with your current situation, there are so many red flags that the VOs will be very closely to scrutinize your case.

You're 18, you barely know someone, and her family want a quick wedding.

You're not going to be able to sponsor her 'quick', because even if you're foolhardy enough to marry her, the application would be covered in question marks from the moment it landed at IRCC, and would take forever to work through them all.

If you like her, try a long-term relationship first. If that doesn't work, you're barely over half way to the median age of marriage in Canada and have plenty of time to find someone.

You cannot sponsor her at this time. In order to sponsor her - you either need to be married or you must be common law (common law means you have lived together for at least a year continuously).

You dont need to apply for PR if you just want to marry her

this really does not have anything to do with applying for Canadian Permanent residence.
