I need some help regarding my lodged Visa.

I lodged my visa through VFS (Sri Lanka) on 25th of July. I got a tracking number. I waited a few days but It still said no records found. I waited more days and still the same when I enter my tracking number and DOB. This month on the 7th I got a message and email saying my "Application has been forwarded to the Canada Visa Office, Colombo on 25/072018"

Then yesterday I got a new message saying " Your processed apassport has been dispatched from the Canada Visa Office, Colombo, on 10/08/2018 to the Canada Visa Application Center, Colombo."

I'm a bit confused on whats going on. I didnt even get any calls, no medical requests, the VFS tracking system still says no records when I enter my tracking number.

My tracking number should be be starting with 2018 right? Something like "2018077575KACSTU0000"

Go to the VFS application centre and tender your passport datapage used in submitting your application to get your passport back..
Hopefully its an approval... Just stay positive

I hope so to, but it was pretty quick, and I didn't even get asked for a medical or my records weren't even in VFS. I will go on monday and pick it up.

I have one friend who applied on the very same date as you and got an approval on August 7
