Hi,
I am planning on starting my first year of studies in Canada. I was accepted into a university and applied for the permit, but it was rejected on the 25th of August due to : immigration status and financial support. So, I delayed my studies to January. I applied for my GCMS notes, but I received an e-mail saying my notes will be delayed for 60 days, and that's too long of a wait. So, I have some questions and I hope that you'll answer them.
1) What do they mean by immigration status? I understand that it is impossible to know what that reason is without the GCMS notes, but what do you think, and what should I provide to fix it? I live in the U.A.E but I am a citizen of another country.
2) For financial support, I increased funds in my mother's (sponsor) account, and I am also going to show land deeds that belong to my father. Is that sufficient? Should my mother write and notarise a letter of undertaking/sponsorship?
3) I am 17, so I am under the age of majority. The IRCC website says that a custodian is optional for minors of age 17. But should I write and notarise a letter of consent written by my parents?
