My wife and i got married last aug in canada. Due to the FBI processing taking so long we decided to wait till we get it. We are filing the spousal visa this week. The problem is im visiting her on feb 28 and hoping i can wait out my PR there. We know i have 6 month to stay and then request for more time. Plus i already quit my job here in texas. The question is what should i tell the custom? Should i get a return ticket back? Should i take less than 3 baggage? Please help

Are you a US Citizen? Anyway at POE, make sure that you tell you are 'VISITING' for a short period. Your baggage should not give the impression that you are moving to Canada.

Yes im a US citizen. I bought a one way ticket. When i buy my return ticket this week should it be less than 6 month prior to my arrival? Lets say my stay is only for a month so they wont question how im gonna support myself for 6 months? Thanks

It is not necessary to buy a return ticket. Just mention that you are visiting your wife to finalize your application for PR. You will stay with her for a short period and will return to US afterwards. Take your application package with you along with all documents. As a US citizen, you won't have much problem unless there is any other issue which may require additional scrutiny.
