It looks like your case is a complex case so it will need more time. As stated in IRCC's email, some part of the process is beyond IRCC's control so there is no set time limit. Rest and wait.

You should order your GCMS notes to know the reasons of delay.

Have you done an appeal or require interview? I'm also in the background stage of the application. But you've been selected for ss (security screening) this process alone can take up to a year, with around 8 months being average
