Hello House,
I need a word or two of advice on what to do.

I am currently sponsoring my husband.
He went for an interview in Ghana on the 27th July 2010.
The interview was fine except for the fact that the officer said she needs to carry out some investigation.

I was with my husband for a few months last year.
I am pregnant and all by myself.
Its my first pregnancy....

I got a notification that i may be called for an interview and have not heard from CIC since August 2010.

Pls what do i do?

If you are currently in Canada contact CIC Call Center and check the status:

Call Center telephone number: 1-888-242‑2100

Go to your local MP, he or she can help you

You are the Canadian sponsor and you got notification that YOU may be called for an interview??? Even for Ghana, 7 months after interview with no word is very odd. I assume it is background checks, was your husband part of the government or military at any time? Did he live in any other countries?

I would order your CAIPS notes, and depending on what you see I would contact your MP.

I'm sorry you are going through this pregnancy alone. :(
