Good morning,
I need some help deciding the best method to apply for PR. I have been living and working in Quebec for the last 5 years on a work visa (I dont speak French). My work visa will expire at the end of this year. I married a Canadian citizen last year and we are expecting our first child in a few months I don't believe my work visa will be renewed thins time around.
As far as I can see it I have 3 options:
1. Apply for PR inbound and apply for an open work permit at the same time
2. Apply for PR outbound (from Australia) and not be able to work until I receive PR
3. Apply for PR as a Quebec skilled worker and ask for a derogation from the French language factor.
Would anyone have any suggestions as to the best method for me?
If i was to choose option 1, would I be OK to travel to Australia for a few weeks with my wife?
Thanks,
Simon
