I need advise to chose course of mechanical engineering for pg diploma.

Hello Friends,
I've completed BE mechanical.
I am planning for post graduate diploma.
My priority college is FANSHAWE.
My question is
Question 1)))
My consultant says me to chose to

1 year course of "practical elements of mechanical engineering"and

1 year course of PROJECT MANAGEMENT
That mean total 2 year study.
So, is both are suitable?
Is it good to chose project management course??

Question 2))
Also consultant says that there are very good opportunity of job after studying in MINING, OR WELDING courses.
Is it truth?

Or automotive
Ptoduction
Industrial. Are better?
Please suggest me.
