we applied on the 28th so like three days ago the fedex shipping showed that the box was delivered Monday morning 10am but its been 3days CIC hasn't gotten back to us about receiving our application, i know its a dum question but how long do they get back to you when you submit?

If you applied outland, about a month or two I think? Inland, 4 months.

CIC doesn't send notifications about applications received until weeks or months later. Your fedex notification is the only one you should be expecting.
