Hi,

I submitted my eAPR last week, received AOR immediately and now it is showing "eligibility review => in progress". I made a huge mistake by not reading the rules clearly. I assumed police reports are required for countries you lived in/visited in last 10 years but apparently you need to provide one for any country you've lived in since you turned 18 years old.

1. I only lived in four countries since I turned 18.

2. I have provided PCC for two of those countries and the third country I don't need to provide PCC because it is not possible to get one unless you are currently living in the country so, as advised by CIC, I attached an LOE instead.

3. The fourth country is the problem. It is where I spent my childhood and I've left that country 15 years ago (I was about 19 years old) and never been back and therefore it does not appear in my personal or travel history at all. Although I've stated in my education history that I finished high school in that country. CIC says similar to the third country, a police report is not required from this country when you submit the application because it is hard to get one if you are not actually living there. Also it says the visa officer might ask for one in later stage but it highly unlikely because that country is in a civil war at the moment.

4. Although technically am not required to submit a PCC from that country with the application, but I have not included an LOE. So now my questions are:

A. Is it possible for me to submit an LOE after the application was received?
B. What is the chance of getting rejection because of incomplete requirements?
C. Should I just ignore it?

I'd be grateful for any advice and I thank you in advance!

Doesnt look like an issue man! They might ask for further clarification if needed but not rejection. Anyways you did better wait for more replies as I am not an expert.

A. Is it possible for me to submit an LOE after the application was received? A: Raise a CSE here. https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx
B. What is the chance of getting rejection because of incomplete requirements? A: If you proactively raise a CSE and write a detailed LoE, chances of rejection are almost nil. At the most they may ask you to submit those PCC in about a month's time
C. Should I just ignore it? A: Hell NO

I'd be grateful for any advice and I thank you in advance!

raise a CSE as canadawecome mentioned immediately, otherwise your application will be rejected

not providing PCC is one of the biggest rejection reasons

Thank you guys. I have submitted the missing loe through the cse contact form and now just have to wait and see.

A possible option I'm thinking of now is to just withdraw the application and go back to EE pool. That might be better than wasting weeks and at the end get a rejection.

But I was wondering:

1. Can you create a new express entry profile while you have an on-going application? This will be my best option if possible. Submit a new profile and if I get an ITA, I can immediately withdraw the other application as god only knows when I might get a reply from CIC regarding the police report issue.

If that's not possible and I have to withdraw the application first, then my only option is to wait 10 business days as stated by CIC and if I get no reply by then, I will just proceed with the application withdraw.

2. Can I reuse the medical report?

Any advice is much appreciated.

May I ask which country is this??

Two questions:

1. Did you submit the CSE requesting the visa officer to add the LOE in you application???

2. Did you write everything in the LOE as stated on the website: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/mid-east/syria.asp

?

If yes, then don't panic. You are lucky that they don't ask for PCC from Syria otherwise you would have been in serious trouble so relax and wait for 10 to 15 days. Most likely you will be told that the LOE has been forwarded to the visa officer.

If you still worry, ask Raj (this forum) or Asivad by emailing AsivadAnac@gmail.com

Great that you noticed soon and sent CSE right away

Goodluck!!

Thank you so much for giving me some hope!

Yes I mentioned in the contact form that I need to attach an LOE to my application. And i attached an loe stating that as per CIC website A pcc from syria is not required at the time of submission and I explained why i didn't include it with the application.

I will wait couple weeks and I hope it goes well!

So.. what happened finally. . Any update from cic ? Just curious.
