I Keep Getting To Send New Passport Photos

Hi Team,

I got an email to send my passport and photographs for COPR. A week later I got an email saying to send new photos as it is not meeting the requirements. I took the photos from a professional photographer but still they sent me this email. So sent a second set of photos. Got the same email. Sent a third one. Same email and finally sent a fourth set of photos and got the same email to resend photos today. Every time I have carefully taken the pictures with a professional photographer meeting all requirements. But they keep sending back. I’m frustrated and confused at this point. Need any advise as in what I can do now.

You are getting the photo request for COPR or for your PR Card?

They are very strict with the head size and margin requirements in the pics. A professional photographer might be good for marriage pics but not passport photos. Better go to a costco or verify the size requirements before mailing the pics.

Where are you located? See if you can get the soft copy from the photographer and then have it cut to size using idphotos4u or some similar website yourself. Then after printing it, you can write the photographer's name etc. on the back (or have them write it).
In the US, Walgreens has the software to do this and most of the time their photos are accepted.
If you are in Canada, then most retail passport photo locations can do it for you.

I’m living in the state of Arizona in USA. The first two times when I sent the pictures, I took it from Walgreens. And they rejected it. So the third time i took it from a professional photographer and the picture was cut to the perfect dimension and i sent it over to CPCO. From that point onwards, until now I haven’t got back any response from them. It’s been two months now.

If you haven't got any response since December 17, then maybe they're okay?

A place like Walgreens may have been taking photos with the wrong dimensions. PR card photos are different dimensions from passport photos, and the Canadian ones are different from American...

Hi, I got my invitation and going to submit. Meantime I have requested for new passport since my passport going to expire in 6 months. Will it be an issue when I get a new passport with new number and express entry has old number. Still old passport not cancelled. I kept a letter of explanation for requesting nee passport. Please let me know
