I have finally got visa but bit confused

question no 1:
Do u need to show the proof of settlement of Fund at the port of Canada which u have indicated the sum at application form.
Question No 2:
My friend got the medical but the problem is that his wife is pregnant of 5 months. can he do medical, if yes, will his family receive visa.
please make clear about it.

As far as Funds are related i think you can just take a balance statement proof and also use show credit/debit card.
No need to take hard cash.
Still i would suggest others to advice.

Irshad,

You need balance certificate from each bank where you have fixed deposits and bank balance. Take this certificates to some Chartered Accountant and he will issue you a certificate.

Make sure that you send all bank certificates and CA certificates in original to the high commission.

Bring bank drafts to atleast near the amount you represented. Take the risk of not bringing the reported settlement funds is with you. If you bring more than 10,000 CAD you must inform the IO. I've heard people bringing as high as 20k CAD in bank drafts to as low as 100 CAD cash but he was really terrified with the possible repercusions.

as for medical, inform the Visa Office once the baby is out so they will request for medical for the baby or just certifications and a passport for the baby for his/her visa.

No need to show what you indicated at application form. But you must carry the fund for your family to servive for six month and minimum amount is mentioned in the CIC web. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/funds.asp

please make clear about it.No problem explain to DMP. Yes she will receive the visa but in case she deliver before entering to Canada, she need to make passport for newborn and need to send all passport with update family information to Visa office once again for new visa stamping for baby.

Yes you need to show funds on port of entry, not the same as u indicated in application but what the require and mentioned on CIC web site.
You can go and have medical done, but doctor will not do your wife medical as xray are harmful for baby, and Im not sure 100% but the entire family will get visa once all medicals are done. any senior to advice plz
