  1. Can anyone confirm that Fixed Deposits that can be liquidated can be used as proof of fund? (If yes, how do I prove that it can be liquidated?)
  2. If a family member decides to help me with some funds, how do I prove that "it's a gift"?
  3. How long do I have to submit my proof of funds and when exactly do I get to do that?
  4. Is it easy to justify putting a big some of money in my account within the past 6 month? I just have a Fixed Deposit that I will be able to liquidate soon but this will show that I have added a big amount of money within the past 6 months.
  5. Once I have submitted my profile, is it possible for me to take an IELTS exam and update my profile with the new result or do I need to resubmit a profile?
  6. Am I able to claim points for work experience for 2 different jobs (NOC). The work experience is for both jobs has a time gap between them both, i.e I didn't have both jobs at the exact time.
  7. I used the official CRS calculator several times (I am waiting for WES) in the past and I got a score that was around 470, now I am getting 507. Do they often change score weights?

YES

LETTER OF EXPLANATION

How long do I have to submit my proof of funds and when exactly do I get to do that?

AS SOON AS YOU CAN. YOU WILL HAVE TO SUBMIT THE PROOF WHEN YOU SUBMIT APPLICATION AFTER GETTING ITA

Is it easy to justify putting a big some of money in my account within the past 6 month? I just have a Fixed Deposit that I will be able to liquidate soon but this will show that I have added a big amount of money within the past 6 months.

BE TRUTHFUL IN YOUR LOE THAT IT IS A GIFT AND YOU DON'T HAVE TO RETURN IT

Once I have submitted my profile, is it possible for me to take an IELTS exam and update my profile with the new result or do I need to resubmit a profile?

YOU CAN EDIT YOUR SCORES AS MANY TIMES YOU WANT TO

Am I able to claim points for work experience for 2 different jobs (NOC). The work experience is for both jobs has a time gap between them both, i.e I didn't have both jobs at the exact time.

YES, AS LONG AS THEY ARE UNDER NOC A O OR B.

I used the official CRS calculator several times (I am waiting for WES) in the past and I got a score that was around 470, now I am getting 507. Do they often change score weights?

YOU MUST HAVE CHANGED SOMETHING OR WORK EXPERIENCE CHANGED?

Thanks a lot for replying.
Can you tell me more about the letter of explanation? I mean, all documents of proof are issues by banks/companies/etc, but the LoE is going to be from a family member, what makes an acceptable LoE?

LOE is that you are giving a clarification to the VO to understand your case from your point of view. Can be just a file typed on your computer as a pdf.

The bank letter won't say the $2000 you received is a gift. This is when you explain your situation to the VO with LOE.

Hope this helps

Oh, so the VO, when do they I show them the proof of funds? At the airport or after I get the invitation (via an website/email)?

You will submit POF with your other documents at the time of application submission and then once you do landing in Canada (first arrival in the country)
