I got my permanent residence after October 11th 2017 bill c6 passed as law. I have Canadian wife but she never worked for Canadian federal government or the public sector. We currently live outside of Canada. Will the days outside of Canada be counted as physical presence towards citizenship? And if it will count, how many days will be calculated? 1 day for everyday spent or half a day for every day spent outside Canada?
