I have PCC from USA. is it enough to cover for Puerto Rico stay?

Hi,

I have stayed for more than 6 months in Puerto Rico due to work, My question is, do I need a separate PCC from Puerto Rico or FBI PCC from the USA is sufficient?

Looking at the info on the link, I am still confused whether or not Puerto Rico PCC is mandatory. Shall I assume it is mandatory?

If you live outside of Puerto Rico:
You can apply for a Certificado de Antecedentes Penales at any Puerto Rican Police Department by mail or online.
You can apply for an Identity History Summary Request by downloading the application form from the Federal Bureau of Investigation website or send a request by mail (see Special notes and considerations for complete address).
