At this same score people like me and even those at 448 have applied for OINP.
Definitely worth spending $1500 for getting additional 600 CRS points.
There are a few candidates who assumed that the score will fall down to 440, did not apply for OINP and now they are repenting.

I hope this gives you a clear picture of the present scenario.

hi, but above 400 points are also selected automatically by ontario PNP right....so whats are difference....

is is that if you spend $1500 you will be more likely and those who dont will have lesser chance.

also have you registered in ontario PNP

i have a gut feeling that in near future (shortly) points will fall

May be you should follow your gut feelings then.

However, you seem to be confusing receiving a letter of interest with receiving a nomination. Everyone above 400 "should" get an interest letter automatically. On the other hand, you are required to shell out $1500 as application fee towards a nomination, after you must have received an interest letter.

If I were you, I would explore PNP than wait endlessly for draw points to draw.

Two things here :

1. My feeling say score will come down to 446 for sure but when no one can tell you. So if you are ok to wait just hang on there.

2. if you can afford $1500 i would say go for that. My personal opinion and some members in forum also confirm chances of PNP application getting rejected is very less. As most of immigrant want to go Ontario anyhow there is no harm of applying PNP.

But again your decision and your pocket

will showing PF and gratuity work to show the bank balance....
secondly will my wife's gratuity and PF showing will work.

NOTE: me and my wife are applying jointly...so we are one applicant..

please suggest me.....

also what are the chances of getting ontario PNP after applying and spending $1500 which is non refundable

Hi everyone :)
I am new in this forum. I have got 370 points. Is it true that by spending $1500 can get additional 600 CRS points.
Please, could someone explain me more about this procedure.
Thank you!

Vikash337 - May I ask what is your language score? If there is room there, improving your or your wife's score might give you a few extra points.

I agree scores may come down to 446, but depends on much time you are willing to wait. Since PNP process also takes a few months to get you the 600 points, it might not be a bad idea to see the trend for a month or so before making your decision to pursue nomination.

Andi_ALB - the extra 600 points is not as simple as spending 1500, otherwise all of us would have done it. Basically, if you get a letter of internet from Ontario, you can apply for provincial nomination. The fee for that is $1500. The provincial nomination application is very similar to the PR application, so in essence you go through the process twice. Once to secure the nomination (and consequently the ITA) and then after receiving the ITA, you apply for the PR visa. Getting the letter of interest does not guarantee a nomination. And getting a nomination does not guarantee approval of the PR application. Having said that its most likely if your papers are all in order and there is no misrepresentation, things will work out. For people with CRS in 300s, nomination is the only option really at this time. Hope that gave you some info.

At this point, Ontario only offers nomination to people with a score of at least 400 points.

Is any other province nominating for less than 400?

1. I guess it will be sooner or later. It's impossible to keep scores over 450 forever. Now we got many applicants from previous years as well as people whose applications are being cancelled for ridiculous reasons and who have to reapply. When CIC clears them (and the refugees, of course) score will start going further down.

2. IELTS?

3. Average

4. I would go for it if I were you. Do you have an invitation?

Not if they're also fluent in French, they will be invited to apply to OINP even if their score is under 400.
