I have too, it means that you must be married for two years if you get a divorce you won't get your permanent resident status or you cannot apply for citizenship
If you marriage is not genuine then they will find out if your divorce.

On your Landing Papers (Confirmation Of Permanent Residence) under the heading of condition, what does it says exactly?

After 2 years of cohabitation with your spouse/sponsor; yes, you can separate and file for divorce. Your PR card is normal except this condition 51 (stay in cohabitation with your spouse/sponsor) for 2 years and after two years of cohabitation, divorce or separation will not effect your PR status.

According to divorce laws, you would have to be legally separated for 1 year before your divorce can proceed. You will still be technically married during your separation period.

To avoid any conditional 51 clause issue, best to begin your legal separation after 2 years has passed after your landing, if the spouse is okay with you staying as PR (despite marriage failing before 2 years PR conditional clause is up).

Does the spouse know that he/she is still financially responsible for you despite being separated (3 years after landing as PR).
