I have been handed a five-year ban for alleged misrepresentations.

Good Day to you all. My name is Ajayi Ifedayo Olumide, and i am a Nigerian. I applied for a Canadian Study Permit in June 2018 alongside my wife who applied for a Canadian work permit. We were both denied our visas in November 2018 and banned from entering into Canada for the next five years on account of misrepresentations and/or withdrawal or removal of material facts relating to our application. The last paragraph of the rejection letter says: you are welcome to reapply if you feel you can respond to these concerns and can demonstrate that situation meets the requirements. This is exactly what I don't understand about the letter. What process do I follow if I am to reapply? Would there be a need for my wife and i to file for an appeal? If yes, what are our chances of success? I would really appreciate it if you can guide me on what to do in this case. I have a valid admission at Langara College, BC for Summer 2019. Thanks.

If you have been banned you cant apply again until ban is over. There is no appeal process in place once the ban is given, the only option is to fight it in Canadian court which would require a Canadian lawyer. Were you given a procedural fairness letter before than ban and did you respond? Did you lodge the application yourself? Anyway lawyer is the only option now or forget about Canada for a while.

I was asked to make adequate representations on the issue of concern within seven days and I did that by acting promptly. I responded promptly... I lodged the application myself. I didn't use a third party....

Was the procedural fairness letter regarding yout bank statement? I got one on NOV 25 and was asked to respond within 10 days and I did respond but I’m still waiting since then and I’m really worried
