Hi everyone,

Thank you for already guiding me & others so much. You all are great.

My question: Can we send more than one CSE for additional documents? .... i already sent once,,, i applied for TRV very unprofessionally... i realized that after i read everything here..... so i keep remembering "Oh i can send that document too" some are even including photos too with their application form...... So can i send a CSE again?

Thank you.

Hi,

If the visa office requires any additional information/documents, they will ask for it. You can send additional documents through a CSE and request the visa office to consider them.

Hopefully the visa office won't make a decision in the time it takes for the CSE/documents to reach the visa officer..... and/or sending multiple CSEs (with additional documents each time), could delay the processing.

When did you apply?

Cheers

Hi Bryanna

Thank you again for replying & giving us so much information.

I applied on the 14th July, so it has already been 78 days.

The purpose of going there is meeting my Uncle who is a Doctor there since 20 years, my mother & my sister both previously got their visas to see him, on his invitation letter..... but here in my case, my uncle is after me to come and see if i would like Canada and then may consider applying for Immigration because i think i qualify for that.... and i also have a bad experience with Danish Immigration, i went to Denmark, i did not like it there, so i came back to my country Pakistan..... i really may not like Canada for living.... and i genuinely wanted to write this down to the Canadian High Commission that i want to meet my uncle & so do i want to see if i want to immigrate to Canada later..... but there was no option in the Visa form to explain myself... and my unprofessional-ism that i didn't even write a covering letter.... so its very basic documents i have submitted with my application...... can i send a covering letter now?

Cheers :)

A big no-no to this cover letter.

Wanting to see Canada with the intention of immigrating = Intention to remain long-term = Higher chances of a TRV refusal

oh ok then, CSE dropped... actually i am under the impression that the more honest you are the better the results..... like last time i wrote in my UK visit visa application form that i want to see the castles.... & play village cricket with my friends.... i was granted entry....... But yes Canadian Embassy is a different entity and with different psyche...... Thanks again Bryanna.... not sure how to return all the favor you give us, i can only pray for you. :)

There is such a thing as too honest. :) But yes, honesty is usually the best policy. Just don't mention the things that are "too true".

Wanting to see castles and play village cricket is touristy stuff = Visitor visa will mostly be granted.

However, just like IRCC, I'm pretty sure the UK won't issue a visitor visa if someone mentions that s/he wants to visit to assess the UK from an immigration perspective.

Too much honesty can prove to be detrimental. It's the same reason why we advise not to volunteer information that's not requested when someone arrives at immigration/POE

@Bryanna @bellaluna

May i please seek your attention again!

How would you analyze this? There is this article from one of the most well read News paper in Pakistan hardly 10 days ago, here is the link ;

https://www.thenews.com.pk/print/231472-Pakistan-objects-to-excessive-Canadian-visa-rejection

Now, there are two threads here on this portal, one is about "September TRV India" where we already see cases processed with in a month... & people congratulating each other (mostly) the other one is " September TRV Pakistan" and its a bit gloomy there.....

So if, political relations or whatever is into play..... and the article in consideration.... isn't it rather wise to withdraw my application.... i mean if you were in my place.... would you just give it a go or withdraw...... ?

Now, we don't want to start an India-Pakistan visa war on this forum, do we? LOL

I don't have any stats, but I believe there is an equal number of approvals and refusals on both sides of the LOC :)

So, let's stay hopeful.... let's not read the gloomy refusal cases. There could be any number of reasons why those guys (both Indians and Pakistanis) were approved/refused. TRV refusals are not based on nationality (although scrutiny of applications could be a bit tougher for some nationalities).

If I may say so (without being disrespectful), you're being silly if you believe you must withdraw your application just because of the article.

If I were in your place: I know my intention to visit is genuine + my application is true/correct without any hidden agendas..... So, I would hope for the best (i.e. a TRV).... I would not desert the visa application process because other applicants were refused.

What's the worst that could happen? A TRV refusal, right? Even in that scenario, I would take it as a learning experience to present a stronger application the next time around that would say 'Hey I'm a genuine visitor. Here is my reworked application that will get me a TRV' :):)

@Bryanna

"Now, we don't want to start an India-Pakistan visa war on this forum, do we? LOL"

NO NO NO war at all, I'm all for Peace, Love b/w the two countries.. we are all earthlings, one home,..... been an advocate of Peace! the comparison was just to prove my point....

"If I were in your place: I know my intention to visit is genuine + my application is true/correct without any hidden agendas..... So, I would hope for the best (i.e. a TRV).... I would not desert the visa application process because other applicants were refused."

I get your point, i am trying to find the right words to explain this... so i will try if it makes sense.... I am not afraid of getting a refusal,,,, but a refusal on the bases of getting refused whatsoever is what i thought will be unfair, after i read the article,,,, but if you think that's being silly,,,, so i will stay with it.

You are right about everything, Thank you again. :)

I have learnt one thing from my experience. Only answer very specifically to those questions which are asked in visa form. Not a single word extra unless you were refused or asked to submit extra details.
