My Application for PR under spousal sponsorship was received Feb 8. On March 24 request for Medical and SA. Uploaded SA and got medical passed 24 of April 2018. Since then nothing has changed..... is this normal for absolutely nothing to change?? I’ve copied and pasted below what I see every day when I check site..... I’ve read that some get updates as they proceed down list and I’ve read nothing changes until final decision is made. I’m American so this is being done in Mississauga.

Review of eligibility: We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
Review of medical results: You passed the medical exam.
Review of additional documents: We are reviewing the additional documents you provided.
Interview: You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.
Biometrics: We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes.
Background check: We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.
Final decision: Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

Yup completely normal.

Ecas I have nothing since medical passed.

GCKEY says background not started.

Full timeline in signature.

The only thing that HAS changed it use to say... Application Status: We are processing your application. It no longer says that first.... the first thing now is Eligibility...
Again. Completely normal. I went 8 months witj complete silence no update nothing

We have very similar timelines. Nothing has changed for us since the start of the background check either. It’s hard waiting when it felt like we had so much happening in March/April. Seeing as there are a small handful of January applications who have got DM, best case scenario we could hear something possibly at the end of this month. But there’s no point in getting hopes up, we could also very likely not hear anything for many many more months like @starnaenae said.

Also the GCKey format has changed so everyone’s now says Eligibility at the top instead of Application Status like you mentioned.

About a month behind you but you but at the same step and also being processed in Mississauga too (hubby is American). Went into Background Check 6 days ago. I am hoping they start sending DM's/PPR's to more Jan and Feb applicants soon.

There is about 6 on the 2018 spreadsheet who applied in Jan that have gotten DM/PPR. If you not on the spreadsheet you should join here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet...Ks8LqbKxOIar2PzSN7j4xBxEg/edit#gid=2079961909

I check gckey and ecas every singe day, its nerve racking. :(

I am hoping the 140-150 day trend to get DM/PPR for Mississauga stays consistent. If I were you, id use that timeline as a guideline.

Thanks!! I miss my husband so much and as old as we are every day cuts into our twilight years together. I do hope also that the Jan and Feb ones get DM/ PPR soon too! I check mine every day at noon and every evening at 5 (Am on east coast so same time zone as them) Good luck and I’ll check out that link! Only have iphone right now since my computer crashed so is difficult viewing some links.

I just now noticed there are TWO dates on my linked Gkey CIC page.... the RECEIVED date (Feb 8) and the submisssion date for PR (March 26)
Which is the one I use to count back from when filing in my timeline?? It’s a month and a half difference in the date!!!
