Hello All,

I am currently on PGWP.
I am thinking of quitting my job(nocB) as it is super stressful and so far from my home it takes all together 11-12h from my day just to go to 7.5h job. And because of my job I cannot concentrate on my IELTS and have time to prepare for it.

I have 2 years of NocB job experience and need to give my IELTS soon and all will be ready to apply for PR. My concern is can I quit my job now even if i do not have any invitation yet and haven’t applied for pr?

Thank you all,

having or not a job with PGWP does not matter for EE profile. Since you already met all the requirements for CEC.

Try to get your job letters before leaving the job. Im in the same situation than you. Will still working until the end of november and will make my profile by Dec after taking my Celpip test.

good luck.

Thank you all,
Just curious, why didn't you think of preparing for PR application once you hit the 1-year work experience mark?
