Hi guys.. Please share your opinion and experience on this case.. :'(

I had it after I came to canada and have it treated in Canda. It was completely cured more than 1 year ago.

Thank you for your help in advance.

First of all, congratulations on being cured of TB. Your helath is the most important thing, and immigration is secondary. This will depend on the results of your medical. Have you gone for one yet?

If you don't have TB you should be fine (assuming you don't have other health issues).

God Bless you and good luck with your application.

If you're fully cured and you can prove it with a specialist doctor's report or letter stating the same, then you don't have to undergo any special tests or anything. Your medical gets cleared very soon. My chest X-ray was clear and I submitted a letter from the specialist who treated me. That was sufficient for me. My medical shows as "Passed" in my profile.

I have to add here that my chest X-ray was never going to be a problem because I had a non-communicable form of TB that only occurred in a small portion of my neck. Didn't affect the chest. And I was fully cured. The doctor's letter helped clear my medicals completely.

Thank you so much JoacRy..

Honestly I haven't join the pool yet, I'm still waiting for my language test result.

Goodluck to you too and wish you all the best!

Thank you so much for your help, Musikwala. I think my physician is able to draft a report for me when I reach that point.

I do have scars in my lung, tho. But it stays the same for more than a year. I guess it should be fine.
