I had a UK refusal in the past, Can I still migrate to Canada?

Hello All,

So here's the situation; back in 2016 end of February; I got a visit visa refusal to the UK; and the reason for this was the loss of the job right after I applied where the UK officer called my company and found out that the company has shut down its operations in Dubai suddenly; (bad luck for me); so I got a refusal letter to visit UK because of this, I would like to take the opinion of the people who have been in the same boat; do I need to mention this in my application and will this affect my migration to Canada especially I already have an ITA; for non-expert people "this question is not for you"; I only need the answer of consultants or people who have been in the same boat.

This section is basically in Personal Details>>>and then Statutory Questions>>>> Has (Name of Person) been refused refugee status, or an immigrant or permanent resident visa (including a Certificat de sélection du Québec (CSQ) or application to the Provincial nominee Program) or visitor or temporary resident visa, to Canada or any other country?

Visa refusal in other country mostly does not have any negative effect with Canada as long as you declare in Stat Questions and explain in LOE when and why.
- Had a student visa rejected from UK, currently in the process of obtaining a PR to Canada.
