hallo dear
yes dear i had also mentioned job duties on the experience certificate. one should not copy paste the duties as set by the cio in the their 29 occupation list. this can also make a rejection on your application.give me ur email id i will send the same.

The next time you will apply, make sure that you will write the job description listed number 1 in the job discription of NOC 6242 which can be found in the CIC website. This is what "lead statement" means in their rejection letter sent to you. God Bless.

i applies for the second time for the PR. ISENT THE APPLICATION LAST DECEMBER. today following is the maili got::::;;

(This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada as a Federal Skilled Worker. I have now completed the assessment of your application and have determined that you are not eligible for processing in this category for the following reason(s):

The Minister of Citizenship and Immigration issued Instructions which were published in the Canada Gazette on June 26, 2010. Only applicants who meet the criteria specified in these Ministerial Instructions are eligible to be processed in the Federal Skilled Worker class.
You have indicated that you have work experience in an occupation with the following NOC (National Occupational Classification) codes: 6242 – Cooks, and 6241- Chefs. Although these NOC codes correspond to the occupations specified in the Instructions identified by the Minister, you have not provided sufficient evidence that you performed the actions described in the lead statement for the occupation or that you performed a substantial number of the main duties of the occupation as set out in the occupational description of the NOC, including all of the essential duties.
After taking into consideration the work experience supporting documentation on file, I am not satisfied that you have performed the actions described in the lead statement for the occupation or that you performed a substantial number of the main duties of NOC 6241 and 6242. As such, I am not satisfied that you are a Cook – 6242, or a Chef - 6241.)

i am working as cook for 11 years i have provided all the necassary documents for that but still my application is rejected can one help me i dont understand this mail. i am woo]rried alot now. should i go to any agent for reapplying the appication againc can any one give me a good agent who taked care of immigartion work more effictively than me pls help me

Officers must:
 consider only those occupations which the applicant has specified and for which the applicant
has provided the four-digit NOC code on their application form (R80(6));
Note: While the Regulations clearly place responsibility on applicants to undertake research of the NOC
and provide the NOC coding for the occupations in which they claim qualifying experience, officers are
expected to exercise discretion where applicants may have made minor errors or omissions in
correlating work experience and NOC coding.
 not take into account whether the applicant meets the ―Employment requirements‖ description
set forth in the NOC for the occupation(s) listed (R80(3));
 award points only if the applicant has performed the actions described in the lead statement
of the particular NOC description and has performed at least a substantial number of the
duties described in the ―Main Duties‖ summary – including all the essential duties (R80(3));
Note: Neither the NOC nor the Regulations distinguish between ―essential‖ and ―non-essential‖ duties or
provide guidance as to what constitutes a ―substantial number‖. This is left as a matter for assessment
on a case-by-case basis. If officers have concerns about whether or not the applicant has carried out
―a substantial number of the main duties…including all of the essential duties,‖ they should give the
applicant an opportunity to respond to these concerns.
 take into account any years of experience that occur between application and assessment,
and for which the applicant has submitted the necessary documentation (R77).
