yep.....3 years ago I came to Canada as a visitor. I got a TWV, with a major Canadian retailer for 2 years. This enabled me to stay with my Canadian partner, ensure we had a future and apply Inland common law.
I got my PR in less than 8 months. Since then, grateful to the employer that enabled me to stay in Canada, I have worked my socks off ( as we say in the UK).
Today, I was promoted to Head of my department, the most busiest, hardest, most profitable department in one of the biggest retailers in Canada.
This is just a kinda pat on the back to a forum that has given me so much insight and knowledge. I thank everyone of you for becoming my online family and wanted to share this moment with you all. I am also slightly tipsy, so therefore anything I post will be complete and utter clap trap.
