I got Ontario PNP invitation, can I update my EE profile ?

While creating the EE profile, I mentioned that my Wife will not accompany me to Canada.
Now I got a PNP nomination from Ontario, but I wanted to update the profile, which will decrease my points.
Am I allowed to do that ?
Whatever the answers are, please also mention a link to CIC or some other official website that makes it clearer about the rules ??

You have to create a new EE Profile for this. I could not figure out a way to add my spouse details as well.
