I'm planning on entering Canada next month and plan to stay until my PR is approved but I'm unsure what needs to be done if I get my Passport submission request before my travel date, as if I submit the passport in India then passport will not be received back before the travel date ? What steps can I take to have the stamping done in Canada as there are 30 days for passport submission ? What is the process? Both of us are eager to reunite that's why, we want to know if I can go there without any hassel.
Please help!!!
Worry about it if you get the passport request before you depart. Short form is, you either decide to get it done before you depart, or you advise you will be in Canada and do the 'virtual landing' process.

If you don't get it before you depart, you let them know by webform that you're in Canada.

Thanks for the response. So now the situation is I received the PPR on 5th Feb and planning to travel on 26th Feb, would like to go ahead with the travel. Any suggestions what steps need to be done now ? Should I be informing them now that I am travelling and would complete the process once in Canada or inform them after reaching Canada ? Please advise

You should have 30 days to respond to a PPR. So, if I were in your shoes, I would do it after landing on the 26th. However, you can ask in the October/November WhatsApp group. There are many people who got TRVs in parallel with their PR applications.

What was your timeline, by the way?

Don't know. You could advise them now that you will be in Canada beginning on the date.

I need to complete by 6th March. Can you share the whatsapp group link please if you have ?
I am planning to do after landing on 26th but was confused should I inform them now about my travel to Canada ?
