I GOT MY PASSPORT REQUEST, DOES IT MEANS MY VISA WAS APPROVED????

Hi, i got a letter saying A decision has been made on your application. We
require your passport to finalize processing your application.
Passport requirements:
• Please provide your passport or travel document, with a copy of this letter.
• There must be at least one blank page in your passport.
• Your passport must be valid for the duration of your expected length of stay in Canada.
• Please note that we cannot issue a visa beyond the expiry date on the passport.

i already sent the passport. Does that means my visa was approved?? cause the letter dont specify that is 100% aprroved so i got the doubt now.

First of all, Congratulation! but would you shade some light on how did you apply? was it on paper through VFS or online? and if it was by VFS, did you receive the email "Correspondence has been dispatched" or it was automatically updated in your online tracking tools?

i applied from dominican republic via CIC online.

dates:

Applied: june 26
medical request: jul 9
passport request: july 31
deposit the passport on my canada office on august 3

all the updates are online on cic.gc.ca, after i deposit they gave me another web so i can track the pass: csc-cvac.com/en-DO/selfservice/status
