I just got my GCMS notes too. My location says FCU-RFV. And the security and criminality checks are "Not Started". Rest are "Passed". Last note on the file is "RFV CHECK SEND FOR CRIM" on Jan 15th, 2015.

What do you think? How long will Criminality checks take? and why aren't they done yet? Also, no info about Police Clearance that we submitted. Diana - does your GCMS say anything about police clearance?

As far I understand RFV means Ready For Visa. It was noted by an IO on Jan 15 to send for Background and Criminal Check.

CIC will do the Security Checks even after you get the Visa (when you arrive at POE). No Idea how long it will take. Not much longer, I hope.

They take 30 days (sometimes more). The method of ordering them does not change that.

Right, It does not matter how you order. I have always ordered Online and received within 30 days.
