I got my CBSA record, but one travel is missing

There was a time, I went to the US and came back by car.

In the CBSA report, this travel is missing, but I do have a stamp in my passport. Is it abnormal? But I still have to mention it in the residence calculator, right?

Because I went to the US in bus tour, when I went back, the boarder guy just looked at my PR card, and stamp in my passport. He did not swipe my PR card... Therefore, it is not in the system...

I would say yes. If you do not know the exact dates also mention it in a separate note.

Are you responding to an RQ or just filing application?
For application filing we don't need CBSA records. In the instructions it says clearly do not contact CBSA.

I think it does not matter, you can ask a copy of CBSA report, and this will give you more information/confidence of your residence calculation.
But it is weird, that even CBSA does not have all my travel record....

That is really weird. Was it one day trip to US? You must know this already that if you return in the same day no need to mention it.

I would add it to the residency calculator and explain it in a separate letter. You can call and ask the CIC agent.

Quite similar case for me: I drove to NYC for one week shopping n vacation. When I came back to Canada, the custom lady just checked my pr card and let me go. It was per my request that she stamped a time stamp in my passport...
