I got lied too :(

Hello everyone
Have u ever been lied to by immigration well I have they asked if my husband can leave by august 10 and I said no because it was not enough time to travel and they said they would send the passport and medical forms, on august 19 I called in on monday the package arrives an am so excited for my hubby to get his medicals done and there was NOTHING under my hubbys name am like please can u double check and nothing I literally started to cry I traveled 5 hrs to the canadian embassy for nothing I run to a interent cafe and emailed them asap to see if the package is lost never sent or sent to the wrong emabassy and that was monday today a week and nothing no response, I feel like a toy to them they lied to me and made me travel for nothing, have u ever been lied to by immigration cuz I sure was lied to and its not a nice feeling

Take a deep breath and relax!!..
From your post i didn't see anything you lied. Lie to CIC means you submit a false statement or incorrect details in your application forms willfully.

But I agree to your point and wish to say that most of the CIC offices are not at all giving little humanitarian considerations to their applicants.

I think the OP means CIC lied to them about when they will get a pckg about medical redo but we all have to know that when they mail something to consider postal delays no system is perfect AND yes i would be P'Od too if i travelled for 5 hrs for no reason but I don't think they lied I just feel mail maybe hasn't got there yet

hey I would never lie to cic I wouldnt want to get into trouble and the thing kedeisha is that the visa office in charge of my case is guatemala and they are in charge of varous countries including where we are costa rica and guatemala send once a month correspondence too costa rica and she said the package will leave august 19 and monday afternoon the packaged arrived and nothing under my hubbys name and now they went send mail until next month so I really dont think its a mail delay I dont know what to think anymore now am waiitng again to see what they say but ya I traveled 5 hrs in bus with our son and he even got motion sickness I hate it at least they could have emailed me and say o its not coming but no I hope no one goes through this cuz it suks

alex121 sorry to hear that. Hang in there, like Kedeisha said VO's dates depend on a lot of factors, so keep waiting, you've been through the most wait already. Can you ask them to mail you the docs to your home address instead of you picking it up at the embassy? That way you'd avoid an unnecessary trip.

In the meantime try to get your mind off the process for a while and if your husband is with you, do something special together to keep you from focusing on the application too much. And good luck, you'll get to the other side in no time!

that sux is there anyway you could provide an email with your application so further communication is done thru email maybe that would save a little time, it would be a little unrealistic to say they should have called you asI don't think its your file alone what you can do is next mth after mail gets delivered send a CSE and ask if your meds redo forms were sent not sure how often they reply to email but it is worth a shot and save you time and money for an unneccessary travelling

Ya I know what u mean anyeshar but unfortunately they cant mail nothing to your home everything goes to the embassy so everythime I have mail there we need to travel 5hrs now am waiting to see what happened to the documents maybe they got lost or sent in the wrong package and yes am keeping strong I am praying everything will go well

kediesha they have my email and phone and on email it take a while for them to respond the weird thing is that monday when there was nothing for my husband I went to email them and there was a email from them as for before I emailed and explained the situacion and asked them if once medicals are done and I send everything in if I can as well send a prepaid envelope so documents can be mailed to me directly and they replied yes that once medicals are done and they have it in there system they can make a decision am like thats weird in the email they clearly are tellling me after the medicals are done if it wasnt sent they could have said o its not leaving yet thats what maked me even more confused

this really sucks for you but keep the faith you are in a better position than many others you are at the end of your journey and it may seem long but it will all be over soon

thank you for your words I know am near the end but, I cant help feeling bad but I know others here are in a worse situation then me so I am thankful of where I am in this process, hopefully they will email me soon and let me know what went wrong,

We had a thread with Rocco? anyway, I was thinking better you said yes when they asked you to leave by August 10. but you know it's not your fault. we cannot just pack & leave when they want. I've heard lots of people here in the forum that Immigration officer will tell them oh, a month it will come but they end up waiting more than a month. :'( sorry to hear about your frustration. in the meantime, just enjoy the time you have there right now. I know it will come but just probably not exactly the date they promise. see you at the other forum.

hey turquoise I am from the other form and ya my husband said the same thing but if it was us two ok but with our son I feel bad putting him in this rush its not fair I have to rush, u know what I mean and ya I know this will probally delay my process but I did it thinking in our son and we just can pack and go at least if I had 2 weeks ok but literally 4 days thats not enough time, but hopefully they will reply soon and let us know what went wrong or at least if I can send a courier envelope and good luck in your further process keep us updated
