Sorry, forgot to add that I haven't received ITA yet.
I met the criteria for FST (because of my foreign experience) and CEC... I've removed all my foreign experience in order to be eligible under CEC only.
Lucky you ...tht you could change now...I can't remove my all previous work ex...
All the bests.

Thanks,
Aarti

Guys please clarify this point.....I was under the impression that one eligibility condition for FSW is that you should have foreign work experience of atleast one year UNDER THE SAME NOC category. Is this correct? If yes, then there is a system glitch coz my foreign work experience is under two different NOCs, 6-7 months each, yet the system makes me eligible for FSW. I think this new system has some serious flaws to be honest.

On the other hand, if the Canadian experience is also included in FSW, then its a totally different story.

Yes, it is. FSW is just experience based doesn't make a difference if it's inside or outside Canada, except that you get extra adaptability points if it's in Canada.

But then, almost every applicant eligible for CEC will also be eligible under FSW, because to my understanding, 90% of the CEC applicants will claim work experience under the same NOCs?

I am surprised that people become eligible only for CEC by removing their foreign work experience only? Am I correct? What am I missing here?

Hi rakikira,

Does this mean you did not declare any of your previous work exp in the new EE profile?

Thanks,
Aarti

Hi Aarti,

Yes I didnt mention anything about my Indian Work experience in my new EE profile. I will add them later after I get the Invitation as my Personal Activity for the last 10 years.

it's not that easy to get the 67 points, so not everyone under CEC will qualify for FSW - unless you have a job offer (15 points) which makes those 67 points easier to get! So yes, many CEC people with a job offer will also qualify under FSW.

I have looked into this as I have the same issue CEC and FSW. Problem is that you can not get a job in Canada under A 0 without experience. So in order to get a positive lmo or Lima you need to provide experiance in this class. Submit a CV and then between services Canada and employer you get approved. Technically the way I see it it may be so closely related it can be one program. I accepted the ITA under FSW. My letter of explanation will just read both my profiles say same FSW and CEC as you not allowed to leave gaps or contradict yourself. If they dismiss my FSW aplication I have grounds to challange as the computer award points based on your info. Info is correct but not fully complete as I miss a letter of reference. I had no choice in what program I was approved under. Both profiles stay the same so it will be case of chasing your tail as next draw will be FSW again. I'm just not sure that your form will be accepted as complete by skipping work experiance and just filling in activities as I tried it and keeps status as in progress

First, thanks for your replies. Now, my concern is, for someone like me, whose EE profile shows eligibility for both, FSW and CEC, I will get ITA for FSW by default system setup. But I don't have any proof of liquid funds required for FSW. What are my options in this case? Declining the ITA?

no if you read the info on system if u get ITA it clearly say you don't have to proof funds if you work in Canada T4 and pay stubs is proof

Thanks for the reply bud_weiser. Could you please provide link for that? Thanks!

I've checked and I can see that even if I ignore my foreign work experience, I still get 70 points under FSW, and this does not include any points for job offer.
