I got EE invitation and ready apply for PNP (non-EE), what shall I do?

Hi, everyone
I was nominated by PNP (non-EE) strain. Last week I submitted PNP application and this week I got EE invitation. Can I apply for both? What will happen if I apply for both? I prefer EE because I wish to relocate at some point. PNP application has not been processed yet. I can email CICC to withdraw the file. Any one who can share similar experience is much appreciated.

You can apply multiple applications at same time under different categories. Remember you have to submit different fees for all applications. You can used same fees receipt. Whatever application gets approved you will get permanently residency from that and other application will be automatically withdrawn.

Thank you for your reply. When filling in the online application for EE, they asked me if I have applied for PR previously, which I did last week, If I choose yes, I need to fill in the application number, which I don't have because the application hasn't started yet. Shall I just choose NO in this case?

Yes put yes and explain that haven’t received AOR yet . Or you can simply put N/A.

Some updates in the case would be helpful to others. For ee PR application, I had to pay again, because there is no option of uploading the receipt of payment. I ended up applying for two PR applications. I contacted the IRCC to withdraw my PNP application.

Don’t withdraw now . It will be automatically withdrawn which ever application processed first. Safe side keep both applications running.

update, it is really dumb. I submitted a signed letter to request a withdrawal. But because it hasn't been processed yet, they cannot find the info and sounds like they cannot withdraw my application. However, the PR fee is only refundable if the application hasn't been processed. Why don't they just say, we can not refund?
