@jman25 hey congrats . So I went for flagpole but after refereeing CANADA , CBSA enetrered info of my COPR but it said in there system that it is cancelled , she didn’t knew anything regarding express landing . But I told her that I was informed about returning the COPR, she told me I should that and await for new one . Now I’ll be sending tomorrow through priority and call ircc . She couldn’t land me on cancelled COPR

Flagpoled so I am now officially a PERMANENT RESIDENT! :p:p. Now I am just waiting for my PR card which CBSA agent told me it takes 60 days or more so if it goes over 60 I shouldn't freak out haha! That's the least though.

Merry Christmas and all the best to everyone waiting for their Telephone Interviews and PPRs, any day now!
Congrats Jman25!!

Congrats @jman25!!!! So happy for you :D:D:D and a bit jealous since I am still waiting for any contacts from cic after missing my phone interview due to the delay of CoPR. So I guess you went to the border instead of waiting for any emails or calls from cic? Tell us more stories:D
Thank You! :D And yes, upon speaking with the agent on Friday she told me I could either email and reschedule telephone landing, flagpole or book an appointment at an Inland-office.

Inland offices are too far away, I don't know when they would have scheduled another telephone interview seeing that they will be on a break as of next week (I think), and I'm yet to hear from them SOO...I decided to flagpole because I live close to the border, and I can get everything processed right away instead of waiting for another interview.

I went to the Osoyoos Land Crossing in BC and it took maybe 45 minutes to an hour max. We (family) crossed to the US and we all had US visas so it was easy, Homeland Security questioned us a bit, took our passports then asked us to park. We went in and waited a good while for them to process us, guy asked if I was excited (hell yes). They searched the vehicle and my backpack LoL and when finished escorted us back to the Canadian side, gave us back our passports and congratulated me.

We crossed back to Canada and got questioned again, went inside but the process was shorter in Canada. CBSA signed up the COPRs, asked me a few questions, I signed up everything, he took my pictures, made a few jokes and then welcomed me to Canada and congratulated me. Both Homeland Security and CBSA were very nice and courteous. A pleasant experience all around.

No, I'm not from a visa exempt country, I used my US visa to cross into the United States and my Canadian Multiple Entry Visa to come back.

Oh no so sorry about that. I think because the agent had instructed you to send them back, they expected you to do that and so they cancelled the ones you got in the mail. But I agree you should send them back and call and have them send out new ones and then you may flagpole. Don't worry it will all be worked out soon! Congrats on your PR! :)

So someone was informed to send CoPR back but didn’t send it back and tried to proceed flagpole but rejected because of cancelled CoPR.
In this case, I booked appointment with local visa office on this Wednesday for landing but I will bring the CoPRs that was failed to proceed telephone landing and actually was indicated to send it back. But CIC agent and Local visa agent indicated me to bring that CoPR. Confused. Do you guys think I can proceed landing on following Wednesday? And in person landing appointment confirmation mentioned my UCI number too.

Thanks for sharing your flagpoling experience, @jman25! It truly was a pleasant experience :D I wondered how you submitted your PR photos.
The reason I am waiting for ircc to contact me was the officer for telephone interview told me, someone will contact me for rescheduling. and the agent at call center also told me if the officer said so, I gotta wait.. I am 2-hour-drive away from the border so really hoping to do have another chance of telephone interview... Congratulations again! hope you have a wonderful life as a PR :D

Thank you for sharing. I think I will be doing the same as you.

Can I confirm you just needed your COPR, passport, visas to enter USA & Canada and application for PR number?

Congratulations on your PR

I was skeptical about the photos too because the call center agent said they didn't think CBSA accepted photos. CBSA however, told me to bring them in just in case, so I did.

When I got there and the CBSA officer asked for my CoPRs I said I have photos too and he said "great" and took them from me. He also asked if I was sure I was ok with my photo because thats going to be on my PR Card haha.

I actually emailed to have my phone interview re-scheduled but I was given the two other options so decided not to wait for a reply and flagpoled instead. :)

Its hard to say. It seems that the agents that ask applicants to send COPRS back cancel the validity of the COPRs so that they cannot be used for anything. My advice to you is call IRCC and ask them if the COPRs that you have are still active and can be used for an in-person appointment at a local office or at a border.
