I got a request for fingerprint after written test (for Canadian Citizenship). The problem is my fingerprints aren't read in any scanner. What to do?

Can anyone please guide what to do in case the fingerprints don't show up in any scanner. Actually I have been facing this problem for years. My fingerprints don't show in any scanner. Have tried everywhere, even when I was going to the US and they spent around 2 hours and then did retina test.
What should I do now as I am a little confused and baffled...

Apply and make appointment and try and have them done. Apparently this is rare but not unheard of (people whose fingerprints cannot be read). I think chances are very high that whichever organisation does them will be aware of this - probably NOT the first person you speak to/work with, but they'll consult with their superiors. It may take time but they likely do have some proceudre.
