i m going to write a letter to them. my mark sheet shows that i have taken 2 levels of french and i asked for only 2 points for french. i did Ielts. they just gave me score for that. if they have problem giving points they should ask for that. My most of the friends did same way and got their result positive. i think they did not see the mark sheets.
they are busy looking at porn posters i guess. you should write to them immediately. good luck ;D ;D ;D

Nope. Read the following Federal Court of Appeal decision , you can just keep adding up years of study. http://decisions.fca-caf.gc.ca/en/2012/2012fca54/2012fca54.html

Well I guess this hearing has nothing to do with his case.. if you have your ma in the same field which was in the noc at that time you should appeal ...

Dear Jungi, please read this:

If an applicant has a four-year bachelor's degree and 16 years of education, an officer would award 20 points, as a single two, three, or four-year university credential at the bachelor's level, combined with at least 14 years of full-time study, is worth 20 points.

Hi. Sorry to hear that
But from my knowledge, they will not give u French points based on classes. U meed to take TEF test

As other members here already pointed, official test results are required to claim language points.

Furthermore CIC will not accept any additional documentation once a decision has made. Sorry to learn of your rejection, but in this instance CIC have acted correctly. You did not provide evidence of your French language abilities, and CIC can only make decisions with documents which they have.

Perhaps you could wait and see if you are eligible under the new July 2012 rules when they come out, and try again?

Wayne.
