I got a medical request 20days after eligibility review started. Is this a good sign?

Yes it is a good sign
Medical requests is always a good sign as you know that your file has been picked up by VO and someone is working on it

as far as i know is if you received medical request. it means your application is in the admissibility stage and they want to make sure whether you pose danger to Canada health system, they also require police certificate at this stage to make sure u dont have crimes. in other words. u passed eligibility which is the hardest step. i have seen so many rejections before medical requests. so it is a good sign so do your medicals as soon as possible and update us with your final decision

Ok thanks. I guess what I’m trying to ask is does this mean I passed review of eligibility?

i think so. from my obersvation. 99% of people who received medical request got ppr. also i have seen many rejections before medical request. it's not sure or guarnteed. it just that you are one step closer.
