I got a letter from CIC singapore!

Hi
I have received a letter from CIC singapore regarding my application whether still i am interested to continue the process for canadian immigration. I know many of this forum have got this type of letter . But my question: Is there any choose or category to send this type of letter from CIC?
Are they thinking : who will not qualify based 38 occupation only getting this type of letter.
Please share with me.

I presume you applied before Feb 2008. If yes, the 38 occupation list doesn't apply to you, they are only checking whether after all this time, you are still interested in immigrating.

Could you pls let us know your AOR date..? Understand that now 2005 applicant getting this type of letter from CHC Singapore.

This is a "Generic Letter" which is being sent out to all Pre Feb-2008 applicants. I think it is a type of "shortlisting" of Applicants who are still interested and of course "Load Balancing".
