Thanks Asivad Anac! Wow! I missed 50 points on my EE for only 5 missing point for Reading exam.

TEF gives the possibility to pass only 1 exam or the full pack not like with IETLS you have to pass the 4.

I sent an email to the office handling all TEF examens - I will let you know.

So do they ask questions about if you have relatives in Canada or not... Is this going to add few points?

Having a Canadian relative doesn't get you additional CRS points. It does add 5 points to your Adaptability score on the FSWP 100 points grid where you need to have at least 67/100 to qualify for the program. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-factors.asp

I'm fairly sure that is how it works. But there was at least 1 another member on the forum who had a persuasive and cogent argument about non-inclusion of spouse in the PR application on the grounds that it is the spouse's choice to be included or excluded. I'm not entirely sure how that works but it definitely seems to be logical. I think it makes perfect legal sense for a spouse to NOT want PR at the same time as the Principal Applicant.

Though I would imagine one would have to provide sufficient evidences of legal separation or a self-declaration from the spouse validating this point.
You can answer truthfully as married. Then add your spouse and then there is a question 'Is this person accompanying you to Canada' answer that as No and that will take care of the points. But then obviously, your spouse doesn't get the PR when you do.

the easiest way in your case is for PNP from Ontario , French skilled , they program for skilled immigrants who are fluent in both english and french , requires CLB 7 in French and CLB 6 in English , based on your first post you are eligible , Did you get PT from Ontario ?
