Hi all,
I submitted my EE (CEC inland) application last week. Despite double checking everything, I realized afterwards that the proof of employment section mentioned the reference AND paystubs ('if available').
The reference letter included my salary and raises, as well as all the normal content like duties and status. We only have our logo as a company letterhead but it was signed with my employer's contact details and one of our office addresses.
I've sent a webform off with the reference letter, two pay stubs either side of the year, as well as two T4s. However given how slow the response will be, I'm worried it will arrive too late. Do I need to call CIC up?
I don't mind if the agent looking at my application requests further proof, as I have plenty of documentation. But frankly, I don't trust CIC and worry they'll outright refuse me for something like this. Am I overthinking it or should I be trying to mitigate this by calling them?
PS. For the proof of finances category, I did actually include one pay stub, my reference letter and a bank statement showing me being paid. In my LOE, I explained that I was exempt from this category but wanted to demonstrate my Canadian experience so included those files. So technically the agent will see a pay stub but in a different category. Will this help my case?
Thanks all!
