No confidence at all that the points will drop to 500-520 in the next draw. IMO it will still be 700+.
You'll probably be right if the number of ITAs is small (under 2,000) but if they start issuing many more than that in a single draw, the lowest score might be in the 500s.

total = 3594(includes Federal Skilled Worker Program, Federal Skilled Trades Program, Canadian Experience Class and Provincial Nominee Program)

dont know how they will fill their minimum threshold if the scores are high.

and i think pnps will make some difference once Ontario PNP opens..

i think, for example if cic announces that they plan to welcome 100000 immigrants through fsw ,cec etc, it doesn't mean that 100000 ITA's will be issued. in that 100000 quata includes dependents also...so actual number of ITA's issued will be far less...just my thought...

The number of ITA's is equal to the count under FSW, FST or CEC. Any dependent will come under spousal/family PR. Please understand that when CIC says the target is 150,000 under skilled immigration (FSW, FST or CEC) it means anyone who gets PR under this program has to qualify for it which is the primary applicant and not his/her dependent. There is a separate category for dependents. Any dependent of the primary applicant under skilled immigrant will not be counted under skilled immigrant as well.

EE will only take care of a percentage of the 46,000 for PNP, probably 25% (just a guess).

We're not sure about the number of ITAs issued thus far because the second draw partially fixed issues they had with the first.

That said, it's reasonable to expect more than 6,000 ITAs to be issued per month on average from here on.
PNP is not a part of EE. Only few Provinces can use EE to to nominate candidates and the number of nominations is small. Most of people nominated have to send paper applications.

Yup. We're saying the same thing, just in different ways. That 25% of 46,000 estimation might be too high.

Based on what I've read, it doesn't. The dependents go in the family category.

46000 is a number of immigrants nominated under EE and old PNP programs and according to this: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/evaluation/pnp/section3.asp it is highly possible that they will reach a target for 2015 (46000)

This is not correct. This article: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/evaluation/fswp/section4.asp explains it well.

The economic class includes skilled workers, provincial nominees, business immigrants, live-in caregivers, and the Canadian Experience Class, as well as members of their immediate family.

I dont think it will ever get below the 650 mark. With more PNP's coming online I believe they will have enough applicants over the 600 mark coming online everyday. Also with a Federal election this year they will want to be super sure its not being exploited and have it blow up like the TFW programme that caused all this.

even if it gets to 500-600 I believe after that, the number under 500 points will be far to much so we will start to see NOC specific invitations. Identified by skill shortage analysis.

Dont forget every draw is under the instruction of the immigration minister. It doesnt say it has to be based soley on points.
