I extended stay 4 times will it affect my future visitor visa

Hi all,
I have a situation , I came to Canada as student did my program and had one year pgwp.after pgwp expired I extended stay on visitor 4 times while hoping for a way to get PR something happened back home I left now I would like to apply for Visitor Visa from my country. I left Canada 5 months back am I still under the Can+, did the 4 times extension an overstay (each extension I did before expiration date of my status). Will it be tough to get Visa base on the fact that l extended several times previously.
Hope to hear what people with similar situation or know who was in similar case have to say.

If you have strictly adhered to immigration rules while on your previous TRVs, it will count in your favour but they may be concerned about the total amount of time you have already spent in Canada. All that you can do is to apply for a new TRV and make a really good case for your visit. You will need to demonstrate that you have considerable and compelling ties to your country of residence that will require your return home at the end of the visit.

Thanks for your reply. I did adhere to my previous term. Just that I have a credit card debt that I had to pay. Am not sure if this will reflect and affect my Trv application.
