1. If your job experience is not on the "list" of 38 It will be refused and returned. It is quite possible that office that you applied to sent the application to CIU Sydney for evaluation.

Give it a month or so.

hi...

You must have kept a copy of the one that you sent to cic. See what is the NOC no. you entered there.......occupation . If it is in 38 occupations list then surely you will get a letter from them. If not then you will be turned down politely...................

hi...........

Well this is just a personal opinion. The final deciding authority is your immigration officer.
Below is what the website says..........

Medical examinations
You must pass a medical examination before coming to Canada. Your dependants must also pass a medical examination even if they are not coming to Canada with you.

Applications for permanent residence will not be accepted if an applicant’s health:

is a danger to public health or safety, or
would cause excessive demand on health or social services in Canada.

Kidney transplant is not a danger to public health and the area of concern that has to be addressed by you is that you would not cause excessive demand on the health services of Canada. When your medicals are being done carry your doctors papers and the latest examination report from your medical doctor regarding your state of health. Obviously they will give their own opinion no matter what your treating doctor has written.

This is only my personal opinion. wonder what others have to say about this.
