I didn't copy a page in our passport books...did I have to?

So I copied both my husband and my passport pages that had our photo and info like birthdates, birthplace, etc. Also all the pages that had stamps on it. The one page I didn't copy on both of our passports and now I don't know why I didn't was the page that you have to write in your emergency contact and current address. We didn't fill that page out in our passports so I just didn't copy it. I didn't want to fill out that page in case our info changes later. Now I wish I had just filled it out and copied and sent them. Will this be a problem?

I don't think this will be a problem. There was a discussion somewhere on here if even empty pages have to be copied. i think you provided pages with data. You signed and guaranteed that you provided accurate information and to the best of your knowledge. The copies show the essential data and that you have a passport and your status. A empty page or emergency contacts do not contribute a bit to the process but waste paper. If they want the empty pages they will ask for them. They need the sponsors copy to have proof of citizenship and travels, the applicants copy to have identity proof and proof of travel. They will ask the applicant anyways for the original before they make the very final decision. Empty pages would not give any info that would be useful as proof. You are safe.

I copied ALL pages, but only because that's what it said in the immigrant's guide...I felt bad supplying them with empty passport pages (48-page passport with only about 10 pages with visas / stamps). Oh well, that's what they asked for, so that's what I gave them.

For you, LD, you needn't copy ALL pages, as I think I remember we discussed this in another thread and your immigrant's guide did not ask for ALL pages...

They'll ask for it if they need it

A suggestion .. fill out the emergency contact and address info in pencil. That way you always have it filled out if it ever becomes necessary (hopefully not!) but can easily change it as you move and the information changes.
