I did not receive the letter of introduction for study permit !!!

Hello !

I picked up my passport today from the visa office and on it was my temporary resident visa. However, I did not received the Letter of Introduction by which I will be issued my study permit ? Does that mean anything ?
Should I call the visa office ?

I don't understand what do you mean my letter of introduction (pls explain me a case in which you saw such a letter).

In order to enter Canada fr the frst time on a student visa u need to have the following,

- Study permit.
- Visa (Multiple or single entry)
- Letter of admission from your institute (you will be asked to present this by CBSA)

If you applied online, you will receive Letter of Introduction in MyCIC, you need to have this at the POE where you will get your Study Permit.

My wife just received a letter from CIC for her SP,this letter shows the application details and acceptance of her study permit.
It looks more like an acceptance letter and doesn't look like an introduction letter

I suggest u to get in touch with the visa office and also check ur email address with them ( this letter is sent as an email). This letter needs to be presented at the point of entry(POE)
